It was a fine cold morning for some Cervidae suffering so my pace was quick. I parked in the pullout just after the bridge and started up. I soon found that a fence had been put up and it looked pretty new. Maybe to keep the deer away from the highway?
Gate in the fence.
There are a few gates and gaps, so it is passable if you start on the west side closer to the bridge.

Looking down the SW Ridge.
After about a mile and a half, the SW ridge joins the point where the SE ridge turns north, toward the summit.
I'm still partial to the SE ridge, but this was a nice variation.
Summit view looking south.
It was real nice and cold, just the way I like my Cervidae suffering.
