Adventure Run in the Boise Mountains

Mark and I headed out for a training run to bag two more peaks on his list.

Date: July 23, 2016.

Partners: Mark.

Stats: 16.6 miles and 2,309ft gain. A lot of forgettable bushwhacking.

Peaks: Peak 6180 "Never Again Peak" and Peak 6624 "Buckbrush Peak."

Gear notes: Trail running gaiters would have been nice.

We ran road 374 for most of the trip. Significant off trail bushwhacking was required to reach the top of both peaks. We did not see any obvious signs of previous human occupation on either of the peaks. We did not leave any cairns, markers or registers.

Why, oh why do I keep ending up bushwhacking?
